Brian, I can’t thank you enough for your organization’s huge gift to Jeff.  The hunt with the guys down in Missouri was perfect in every way imaginable. Because of you, Jeff and I shared an experience most only dream of. I want you to know that Jeff was happy beyond belief. Getting away from the hospital scene for a few days and hunting with the “Pros” was a real treat for him and myself. I do think Jeff was a bit overwhelmed by all the attention, but loved it you can be sure. Monte MacDowell from Dead Down Wind was very genuine and offered his fabulous hunting retreat to us with welcome arms. He is obviously a man we all wish could be our neighbor and thank god that there are people like him out there. Kevin Heldenbrand was there for us looking after our every need, what a great guy. He sacrificed time with his own son while he was at a baseball game to be with Jeff and guide him through the hunt with true spirit and dedication. I am sure Jeff will never stop telling stories about Kevin, he is a fun guy to be around and has lots of great stories that just make you hurt from laughing so much. Kevin’s mother Veda cooked us a fabulous Christmas dinner that was one to remember. She is also one of those that you want to live nearby, we see where Kevin gets it from. Keith Mark from MacMillan River Adventures was a real kick, his close friend and cameraman Joshua were just great. Keith also has a ton of hunting stories that make you want to hear more. His close ties to the “Nuge” Ted Nugent now gives Jeff bragging rights at school. Jeff has told all his buddies about the trip and the fact that the hunt will be on The Outdoor Channel in December, the whole community is looking forward to watching the show. He asked his principal if he could show the class the DVD at school when Keith sends us a copy. As soon as Jeff mentioned the “Nuge” He said oh yeah! Once again I thank you for what you do, we need more of you in the world. Lastly, I want to mention my neighbor Chris Buzick for sending you Jeff’s information. He has been A real godsend here and we are truly blessed to have him around.
